For girls that have gotten hair extensions...does it feel weird knowing it's not your hair?

I'm getting them for xmas (the ones they actually attach, not clips-in ones) and I just feel like it's gonna be weird at first.

If you got them, what kind did you get and do they look real?

Thanks x3!

I have gotten the ones that are actually real hair and they bond to your hair and stay in for 5-6 months. They are expensive, but worth it, and they look and feel natural. A lot of my friends actually do the clip-in extensions, and they look awesome! I have asked them if it feels weird, and they said no. The trick is to make sure that you put them in correctly and the extensions are the right color and length to blend with yours. One of my friends got hers at a local beauty supply store, and the other one discussed it with her stylist and decided to order some. I think that if they make you feel good, thats all that should matter! :)

The first few days it feels a little weird but just because it is longer then normally and it eventually just feels like your normal hair

I'm a hairstylist. No it's not weird, just make sure to get the kind thats REAL hair so you can curl and style it if you want to.

ya its weird in the beginning you just have to practice

before you go in public

make sure its not showing

and that its even with your hair

you'll get used to it after the first week.

Not to be rude,But girls have beatiful hair. Why would you want to take them out.Your hair might stop growing.Good luck

I got them glued... at first it is very heavy, and feels

awkard because you go from having shorter, real hair

to lots of long hair. I got used to it after a while, then they

came out.

It was super expensive so after that I bought clip-ins.

I prefer them 100% more! They look better cuz you can

put them were you want. And they feel better because when

you start to get a headach you can remove them, and they last

like a really long time!

But good luck! They are sooo fun!

No it doesn't feel weird. Do you feel weird wearing a wig when you know it's not your hair?

I get real human hair so I can wash, dry, and style it like my real hair.
