never heard of them
its tangled by the bond so i cant get it out n im broke so i cant go to tha salon help
Go get some baby oil. Apply it to the bond and it should come out. there is also bond remover but baby oil is the cheapest.
u should be able to go to the salon because thats what u paid for....the person is suppose to do it for free....i know that happen to me once and i went it and the lady fixed it...hope it helps...
i would get a deep conditioner and leave it in for atleast 5 minutes, then comb it out...if that doesnt work, u most likely will have to cut them out.....carefully
Give me websites for them ][Clip in ones][
You can find your exact answer at below link. It will definitely help you. It is the perfect site on Hair Extn
any good?
Have you thought about clip in hair extensions, like Jessica Simpsons? They won't damage your hair, like the glue-in ones do. They can last much longer too (the human hair extensions will last at least a year). And you can put them in yourself.
Not good, it can take your own hair out.
It depends. Do you sweat alot in your head? And do you have time to re wash it every once or two weeks? If so Great idea. But i'd go for the clip in. You can take it out to wash then put it back in.
are you out of your mind?!
do them the professional way, if u've got allergies to the glue-u'll get scalp infections; it weakens ur hair, and comes off sooner than the other type. Invest in something good if u want extensions.
It depends what type of hair extensions you use. So Capp hair extensions are terrible and make you hair look like straw. Though, if you use Great Lengths hair extensions, your hair will look natural and unbelievably beautiful. Though I will tell you that glue in hair extensions will get aggravating after a while. The most you can leave them on your head without looking like you have a birds nest on top of your head is 6 months and that pushing it. The glue will also become scratchy on your head and they will fall out and sometimes shed as they get older. You also have to use certain shampoos and conditioners on your hair if not the glue will not hold and they will fall out . With extensions you cannot let your hair dry naturally either. If you do you will look like the poster child for dry and frizzy hair. And the only way for the extensions to look good after you dry them is to flat iron them and style with gel and other products. Extensions are a lot of work and expensive too, though if you get the right ones and style and take care of them the right way, you can look better than the movie stars.
Hiya! Anyone know where I can buy these in Dublin! Preferrably not in town!! thanks a mill
go to salon services on the red cow round about they have loads to choose from you can get the luas to it on the tallaght line so its handy to get to
no dont buy them please, they are so ugly and obvious
you can buy them in any peter marks
Hair Crazy in the Omni Park in Santry do great ones, in every colour imaginable, price was pretty good to, cost me 50 quid for a full head.
sassi's or sallys or colour keys
The length of time that you can keep hair extenstions in depends on your hair type and the type of extentions - braids, sew in, bonding, etc.
long.
just imagine how long a ruler is
plus 2 inches added onto it (:
long
Long
well considering 12 inches equals a ruler, so thats two inches longer than a ruler, I'd say its long I guess.
EDIT: yeah we must have posted at the same time...
Uhmmmm, it's FAKE is what it is!! Damn, grow some REAL hair!!!!
the ones I had felt like the extensions were sliding out. and felt heavy.
yes
No they dont because i use them everday
the ashlee simpson one look really good
and their comfortable too
Good luck
They shouldn't if you get a good kind. After a while they will start to feel like your own hair and you won't even realize they are there.
YES THEY DO ,EVEN MORE IF YOU HAVE LITTLE HAIR,ALSO IT DEPENDS ON THE LENGHT OF THE EXTENSIONS.
I am desperate, but I'm reluctant to resort to wearing an itchy wolley mammoth wig that tends to slip..I've tried wearing them in secret!!
I have been advised that the hair I've got is too fine to support hair extensions or a weave for any decent amount of time. I've tried wearing scarves, but it would be awkward to wear them to work and they can make me look ill!
I live near Birmingham but I'd be prepared to travel nationwide and consider any cost...it has totally wrecked my confidence.
I read about a salon in London Lucinda Ellery 02087418224 give them a ring,I don't know how much it cost, however it did have a good write up ,good luck
I'm sorry to hear about your condition and also sorry i can't help but good luck in finding someone who can help
have you tried calling BOSLEY? i hope you find what your looking for.
Whoever sells them should have a colour match chart so you get the exact colour.
see a hairdesser
you will very rarely get them the exact colour so the easiest thing to do is die them otherwise you spend loooooooooads at the salon

Would strand by strand extensions cause bleeding of the scalp of any kind
Only if u scratch it immediately afters or put rubber bands or hair holders on that pull your hair. Strand by strand can cause your scalp to scale up and produce more dandruff because the tightening of the hair at the root pulls the skin. Use a very good moisturizer the day before. My in laws use mayonnaise, it stinks but it really helps because they have naturally long thick hair.
IT SHOULD NOT BUT SOME PEOPLES SCALPS ARE SENSITIE...
not really.just make sure that your scalp is conditioned and you should be ok.it shouldnt bleed.
it shouldn't cause it to bleed... It can though lead to some permanent hair lose because of the constant tension until you take the out
Extensions can do damage to your hair depending on how it is placed (say no to glue). One that does not do damage to your hair and is the most popular--- but also most expensive is Great Lengths. It is totally undetectable and it is real hair from India. You can put a perm in it, color it, heat it, whatever. I know some people that have it- but at quite a price paid and the hair cannot be reused once taken out. Good luck!

I personally have not tried hair extensions (other than the kind used for braiding hair in a cornrow style), but if you do decide to get a weave, please go to a professional who can assess your hair properly and recommend the best weaving method for you. Almost nothing looks more tacky than a weave done wrong, LOL!
What's your opinion?
I think I look sexy..
Who wants to do me?
Bwaa Haa Haa!!
You look like Mary Tyler Moore.
I Don't care about that!
WEEZER!!! Report It
*Paris voice* - You're hot
Excuse me while i throw up. BLEGGGGGGGGGH.
Just kidding. I'm sure they're adorable. %26lt;3
as long as u love them thats the main thing lol
I can't see you, and therefore cannot have an opinion about your appearance.
You're probably doable though.
I'm gonna try not to get in the way of the love blooming from the guy above me......
i had to go to your 360 to get a better look, you look maahvelous daahling!!!
Hehehe - i've always had a 'thing' for cartoon characters.....
Cool hair, Zorak.
But Brak has the best hair.
It was past his shoulders in Cartoon Planet
and Shoulderlength in the Brak Show.
I bet they should give him a comeback and have it waist length.
I have long hair in real life.
how do you clip them on?, because i saw some online and it didn't look like it has a clip or anything. Where can i get them? in stores? sallys?
you can buy some already sewn on.
i prefer those.
because you have to be really good to sew the clips on yourself.
but the ones with clips on them cost a lot more than the hair just by itself.
and you can buy clip on ones at beauty stores.
but you can find better ones online.
go look at hairdo by jessica simpson
:]
i just bought some of her's yesterday.
not sure that sallys has the the clip- in for the the colored extensions...it's really pretty easy w/ sewing them onto the clip-ply...as most sally's has it all..
sallys! they have good ones. and the clip thing at the top that is metal what you do is snap the sides and the comb part pops out and you just put that in your hair and then snap the ends again and the comb part pops back in and its secured into your head. its REALLY easy and sorry if that didnt make sense but.. if you need other directions look it up on google. thats where i figured out how to do it the first time. hope that helps [:
?
why don't you just call and ask?
NO I HAVE NO CLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SORRY
What is the round about cost for these in the Maryland area?
I know that at Glow salon in Annapolis they start at $1000. They are mucho expensive here in Maryland.
The price depends on two main factors. First the quality and the amount of hair required to make your hair longer. Second, the expertise of the stylist that will perform the work. Mine cost $500.00 and that price range is comparabe to other states. For example, actress Lucy Lu paid $1,000.00
Thanks.
xx
The best thing to do is to go to a professional stylists and have them put the extensions in. They can then cut the extensions into the style of your choice. I would not recommend cutting the extensions yourself. You should consult a stylists with an expertise in hair extensions.
yes you should definitely go to a stylist to put extensions in and cut them to your desired style .However you might want to make sure that stylist is an expert in hair extensions also ? Good luck !
can u tell me abit about them what do they put them in with and can they put them from the top of ur head?
if your talking about the ones they tie into your hair.. on some people they hurt sooo bad and they itch. so if you have a sensitive head i would re consider.
Hair extensions can be installed by bonding, sewing, or braiding. I used to put my weave in by gluing it, until I realized that the glue would get all tangled in my hair. Then, I started having it be put in by sewing it. This allows my hair to grow, because no heat is being put on my hair. There are also no chemicals being put in it. You would be amazed at how much your hair can grow from weaves. However, it is not advised for you to leave it in for longer than three months, because your hair can break off after that.
You can pretty much have your weave be put in any way you want it. Just ask a stylist about your options.
what thy do is braid a row along the scalp around the head...( avoiding getting too close to your face or you would see it) and along that braid a weft of hair is sewn on....ussually people will get 2 rows or 3...but never go to the top of the head or it would look weird!! i have had them and there ok...i find they grow out fast ...6 weeks and it would start to bug me!!
if your looking for someone to do them or another method go to www.hairpolice.com and look for an affiliate in your neighbourhood.........im in vegas and go to l.a every other month to do hair but...there are plenty of others around also our site has lots of info and pics to look at
A weave in sewn into a corn row base. Generally the top has a small section of your natural hair that overs the track of the weave. A good tech can really cover their work and make it look natural. Good extensions are not cheap and cheap extensions are not good. If you are serious, save some money and book a consultation with a tech. They will answer all of your questions. Hair extensions require a lot of time to put in, maintain and take out. Best of luck.
well they are meant for people that want more hair to be full etc. but they can weave ,sew or glue

where can i also get ones that are not so wide like about 2-3 centimeters wide?
Are you looking for clip-ins? or another method? try:
www.hairextensionsnow.com
or, ebay.
becuase my hairs really bushey so if i get em would i be able to strighten em?
You can't use heat on synthetic extensions. However, if you buy human hair extensions (which are more expensive), you should be able to use a straightening iron on them.
YUP
only if they are reall hair if they are plastic no so u have to make sure they are human hair extentions if they r then yes u can straighten them
=D
I wouldn't recommend it, but you could try, just dont burn them!!
yup but onl;y if there human hair extensntions
yeasss
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
yes
real hair extensions can be straightened but you have to keep using leave in conditioners, treatments etc to keep em good condition.
you can get human hair extension quite cheap depending on how you have extensions (i.e. clip in, bonded/glue, sewn)..
clip in 1s r cheaper...but are quite fiddly...
bond/glue in 1s...not cheap, and can damage hair...(victoria beckham had em removed and she had bald spots)
sewn in - your hair is braided, wefts of hair are sewn in...this tends to be the best way as your hair isnt exposed to heat n chemical damage and tend to be alot cheaper
i am going to buy some tomorrow, and i wonder if any others have bought them..
how much did they cost (pounds and pence please)
and how much do you neeed.. ?
also, i dont want any crap from people about it. those are the two questions^ and only two i want answered.
Hi,
i go to sallys as well i think it depends on the length to how much they are and if it has highlights in blonde i mean.16 inch which is about what people normally have any longer they too long they about 鎷?5-30 18 inch are i think 鎷?0-35.
x
Id take 鎷?0 to be sure.
ok, i always go to sallys.
it cost 25 to 30 $ for very long extensions. they actually look great if put in right.
they give you enough.
sorry i dont know pounds.
Never heard of 'sallys' but I recommend 'hair-do' by Jessica Simpson. The human hair costs around 鎷?50 but they are quality and will last a lifetime if cared for properly.
They usually cost around 鎷?5 to 鎷?5 depending ont he length and i would get two packs just to make sure you have anough. You can always keep the rest for another day or something :-)
Hey Hunny_X
Erm How About Using The Hairdresser's_X
You Rude Biacth_X
Your Going To Just Look Cheap And Stupid =]
I have got all of my extensions from sallys, I use it for my clieants too. They have many different extensions there. If I would be you, I would test the texture of the hair with my hand , if it feels kind of rough and not smooth dont buy it, that kind of hair goes bad quickly.
You can get the hair aroun 15-40 dollars depending on how much do you wanna use for a one packet. I would say 1-1.5 packetes should be enough.
They are very nice people in Sallys, so if you have somekind of question do not hesitate to ask:)
if it's the clip in ones it's around 35 quid but if it's the ones you have glued in I'm sorry i can't help never bought them...
easy to take care of and how long do they last. ? how much are they and how do they apply it
some are done that way the have this gun its something like a glue gun and they fuse it to the end of your real hair the price is over 200 dollars b/c its so time consuming and patience and you take care of it just as it is your real hair
Only if they block light to their immediate neighbours.
On a different note I just read a book called "Courtesans" by Katie Hickman, and there is a quote in this from a 17th century lady of fashion, when hair was often 2 foot high and padded out with cushions. It couldn't be washed often, and this young lady relates a tale of when a friend had her head "opened" (hair dressed) and inside were living a "Nest of Mice".
NO ASK PEOPLE WHO WEAR THEM
cute.
i think they SHOULD require planning permission - some of them look so damn awful they should be fined!!
ya coz ur occupying the extra space...................
depends on the lengh
the ones that i some ppl i know got do.
erm No!
Only from the 'style police'.
Yes based on the same rule as garden fences....anything over 6 foot, needs planning permission. (well the government has to make money somehow.......anyhow!) ; %26gt; )
Thats a hair raisingly good question!!! However, I would seek planning permission just to ensure that everything is hair tight. If you cut it fine you, then retrospective permission may not be granted.
Lord knows I've seen some that should.
And some that should have been denied permit.
ha!ha!ha! what ever will you think of next!!
by the way, no they dont!
not if there only temporary
wear a net or scarf at night when going to bed. comb it out gently, tagging and pulling can coz tangles
It really depends on the type of hair you buy. The cheaper the hair the more it tangles. If you want a real good grade of hair it's definitely going to cost you. You also want to make sure you buy human hair. The better the quality the less tangles%26amp; frizz you'll get. Good Luck!
Here is an excellent site with some wonderful options 4 U. Check it out閳ワ腹鈧?.

braiding or weave on extensions
Hi I would recommend Barbara Christina tel 01772 720365
and thats on Blackpool Road, as a Salon owner one of my stylists went there due to moving home, have a great time they will certainly look after you and you will get a first class style done with them
I vote yes, as long as you have a ton of choppy layers.
heck yes
I'm getting hair extensions tomorrow... Which is better glue-in or braided? And which one last longer?
Glue-in extensions are okay but for a short period of time. They can become matted and if your not careful conditioner and/or hot water can make them come out.
Braided is better although they can tend to itch and become irritated but the following recipe will fix the itch and/or irritation.
Anti-Itch Serum for Scalp
(Use for braids, weaves or for any irritation caused by tension)
1 cups water
1 cup witch hazel
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
20 drops tea tree oil
Mix all in a spray bottle. Shake well, and spray on scalp irritations as needed. Keep chilled for extra relief.
Braided is always better, glue breaks off your hair
Braided extensions are better for your hair but they can sometimes fall out quite easily whereas the glued in ones are more likely to stay in your hair. However, glued in extensions can damage your hair and sometimes cause bald patches if left in for a long time.
I wouldn't recommend them if your natural hair is healthy. I got the kind that are "bonded" on and no matter how careful you are, some of your real hair breaks off when they are removed. Then you eventually have to keep using them to cover up those places. My experience with them was a nightmare and I wouldn't do it again!
Also, I got the human hair extensions that are supposed to be the best. What they don't tell you is that the natural direction of the hair shaft is one direction on your natural hair, but on the extensions it is attached randomly to the welts that you bond to your scalp, which causes you to constantly have to brush it because it doesn't lay flat for long. It tangles easily and you can't get them wet unless you want to risk them falling out at a bad time!!
that is not entirely true,
1. there are strand by strand hair extensions that are bonded using a keratin base. These come out very easily and do not damage the hair
2. They sell hair with the cuticle direction all going the same way, there for there is not tangling. This is called Remy hair
Hair extensions can be a great experience if they are done by a very experienced hair extension specialist.
no never tried it
no they do not do anything to your natural hair. If glueing it might cause some breakage but other then that nothing funny.
It depends who does your extensions for you.
It depends on how you get it and who does it for you. If you get it braided in be careful with who does it because it will make the extensions look really fake. If you get them just attached on the bottom make sure your choice in extension is a good one.
I damaged my real hair so I got some extensions put in to camouflage it. I have thin long hair and didn't want to cut it off. After they put in a row around my head my hair looked amazing. It was longer and sexy. I got them for two years and never had a bad hair day and even my best friend, and my own children never noticed them. The only draw back is the bonds that were glued on were annoying and you can't come them you have to use a special brush all the time. You feel like you have ticks in your hair but only you can feel it. If you comb them on accident to many times they pull your real hair out. Other than that they were perfect for growing out the damage and now I'm back to healthy natural hair.
How can i keep the top straight so it will match the extensions
best to do braids while your hair is growing out
Hihi. I'm going to Hong Kong (my homeland) next month and im planning on getting hair extensions. I was wondering where is the best place I should go for hair extensions?
-thanks.
If you don't care the budget, I'd suggest that you go to Esprit, they have couple branches at Kowloon and Hong Kong. If you know Chinese language, you may have a look on this web site, http://esalonstation.magicempire.net/mat... Actually it is very popular in Hong Kong, but be careful not all can provide a professional service.
sorry, but i would'nt know where you can find anything in hong kong .
At Da Stow.
Yeah. You need to put the right hair colour that matches your real hair.
actualy it does look liek its reall if u get it in the right color and put it in right...
one of my daughters wears extentions and it does look real but then she pays a fair amount for hers so perhaps that's what makes the difference good luck
yeh
hey how much are the jessica simpson ones and are they good? if not then what ones are good that are cheap.
They're great, but they're incredibly expensive.
Im looking to do something with my hair because I recently had it cut and it's rank in my opinion! I like Scene cuts - hair extensions are lush and I'd like to dye some colour in it aswell. Any ideas?
I am presuming your a girl?
you could go to another hairdressers and say im not happy with my cut, say why, and ask for there opinion
if its short buy some funky clips to get rid of some of the hair you dislike
hairbands
as for dying your hair the way to get better hair is to put highlights into it. you can have random streaks of brown if your blond or blond if your any other colour, funky streaks would look coool
you can get wash in wash outs to see what it looks like, and spray cans of colours to test
scene things are having extravagant hair colours
funky side fringe and layers
not a fan of extentions myself because they always look too long in my opinion.
got a pic?
Your hair may have been cut wrong, go back to the salon and speak with the Supervisor and ask them to correct the problem.
Tipping short hair is cute -- a different color on the ends.
Cheap but look good and can put in your self.
Websites please.
More and more places on the high street are offering real human hair extensions.
Take a look around next time you're in town, some good hairdressers stock them, also the Afro Caribbean places.
For a good, 7-piece, ready clipped pack of human hair extensions expect to pay around 鎷?0-鎷?5. Depending on the length, they usually come in 3 (16", 18" and 20"). Make sure they are human! Fibre hair becomes matted and can't take the heat of tongs, straighteners etc.
weaves
http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl... that 1 looks quite good !
Go to Google and type in hair extensions and find shops so you can browse through the quality and price range.
depends on ur hair really,if is naturally curly or weavy,go 4the same type of extensions...if ur natural is straight,go 4straight1s coz extensions and natural hair they do envolve some kind of conection...if u know wa i mean...so yep,n if u wana no the website that might help u just type...hairstyles in the searchbar, and than u should search in extensions;-)
black beauty is a good place to start also if your in london finsbury park has lots of afro carribean shops that do all hair types for every head of hair you can imagine and books and stuff to help you
I've found, and i'm an African American, so this could make a difference that Zury (pronounced Jewelry) extensions are really good. The cheapest Zury hair is about 20 or so dollars a track inside the chinease hair stores not online. It's really pretty. Good luck.
Whoever sells them should have a colour match chart so you get the exact colour.

OMG the twins have just asked her how much she paid for her hair extensions, Shenessa said 鎷?00.00...OMG have you seen the state of them? looks like she's been dragged through a hedge....
This just proves what an airhead she really is.
Don't believe it, she must be a liar, I'm sure she's lying about her age because she is well and truly past her sell-by at age 26. She'd have been better off spending 鎷?00 at the dentist.
I saw them on Friday and i thought they look really awful. Maybe she likes the look of FAKE hair and wanted them to stand out lol.
the most hideous fright wig Ive seen - hair awful %26amp; her choice of dress wasnt doing her any favours either, did she LOOK in a mirror?
fully agree !
i wouldnt pay 600 pence for them !
I know, I was thinking the same thing myself, they are really tatty! I also thought she looked a lot older than 26 or 27 whatever she said she was, more like 37!
Well that's just put who ever done them out of bussiness!!
You must admit they looked good on the night but Oh look at them now if she is like this after one night what will she look like after 3
her hairdresser should be arrested
Give it a couple of weeks and it'll be a repeat of BB7's Lea all over again! I wonder if she got 'carpet and curtains' to match. Uuurghh...shag pile.
Apparently she's 27!!!!!! a year younger than me but looking like my granny, her hair is a mess, her clothes are a mess, she is a mess.
鎷?00 My foot!....She has never seen 鎷?00 in her life.
And if SHE is 27...She must have had a hard life so far.
tatts, she's a mess...she's got a nasty hard cheap pornstar face, and that WIG....no way did it cost that much...my floor mop looks more classy...yuk,,,she's a dirty girl, just watch and see !!!
she should be it towards getting her boob uplifted, my god did u see her in that dress, what a bloody mess
Happy Birthday!
Yet another hm with hair extensions, though those are the worst I've seen since Britney!
Do they never learn? 600 pounds? She was robbed mate!
missed this question yesteday lol no way is she 27 i would put her more at about 34 , as for her hair , no chance did they cost 600 quid ,like to see them in a few weeks thats if she gets in at all lol!!!

I personally have not tried hair extensions (other than the kind used for braiding hair in a cornrow style), but if you do decide to get a weave, please go to a professional who can assess your hair properly and recommend the best weaving method for you. Almost nothing looks more tacky than a weave done wrong, LOL!
where can i buy cheap one, that are decent quality online to order form the UK
THANKS
links please
try ebay
not sure, but try it 100% in
the ones I had felt like the extensions were sliding out. and felt heavy.
yes
No they dont because i use them everday
the ashlee simpson one look really good
and their comfortable too
Good luck
They shouldn't if you get a good kind. After a while they will start to feel like your own hair and you won't even realize they are there.
YES THEY DO ,EVEN MORE IF YOU HAVE LITTLE HAIR,ALSO IT DEPENDS ON THE LENGHT OF THE EXTENSIONS.
how long should i wait till i showeR?
didn't you ask your hairdresser?
Why in the hell would you have hair glued onto your head??
I just don't understand some people.
you should ask the hairdresser
uhm doesnt matter
it lasts for about 6 months hun
u need to shower quick .your pits are stinking
when ever they are completly dried about 15 minutes after it is done and make sure u wear a shower cap
I really don't know because im white and I don't glue stuff in my hair but some African American people I hang out with does, I think they said about a week, but don't mark my words.
~Country Girl~
Your first mistake was getting extensions in the first place...your second mistake was getting GLUE...you shouldve decided to get it sewn in your hair...and you third mistake was not asking whoever did your hair how long should you wait til you shower or when they come off or any matinence questions.....dont worry your hair might fall out but you'll still have your brains!!! =] j/k
Your hairdresser should have blow dried them when she/he put them in that will hold them until you are ready to take them out. When you are ready t take them out you should use bonding glue remover, or ask you hair dresser so you won't pull your real hair out.
does anyone know where i can find hair extensions 26 inches or longer??!!?!?

Hair extensions are out of the question. I have short, wavy blonde hait that goes to almost-my-shoulders. I need good, fast ways (homemade or products) that aren't disgusting. Thanks!

vitamin b-complex
sea weed
nut, poultry, vegetables
exercise
use bristle brush to stimulate your scalp
don't overwash your hair, and use conditioner
hope this helps! :)
water it everyday like a plant
well wat i do is give it a good brush and brade it it grows really well it brings all your hair together and makes it longer just dont put the brades to tight
horse shampoo makes hair grow faster, and rubbing your head 5-10 minutes everyday will do the job too. i used to do both of these cuz i had to get my hair long in order to get dreads
vitamiins
take vitamins.
i dont think there really is a way to grow hair faster because it just natural thing
HI,
It is always good to stimulate your scalp on daily bases. A 3-6 minutes message will do. Taking daily vitamins as well as maintain the scalp and the hair it self by trimming and using a light hair dress on both the hair and scalp would do the trick.

Natural Homemade Beauty tips to Hair Care
http://homebeautytips.blogspot.com/2008/...
Hair growth is reduced and the scalp skin also undergoes flaking and drying up thus not providing an environment for hair production. It may cause graying of hair as well. The presence of zinc is so essential that once replaced in sufficient quantities, it can reverse most of the degenerating mechanisms such as graying and thinning of hair.
To supplement your diet with zinc, consume food products rich in the same such as fish, wheat germ, egg yolk etc or take supplements, which contain zinc. A balanced diet is the first step to good health and this fact should be borne in mind always.

One of the ways i get my hair to grow faster is by getting it wet with warm/hot water then standing outside in the cold. My hair freezes and well, cold makes your hair grow faster. believe me. I could shave my legs and the hair grows back so fast when i get chills from being cold and stuff...
weave is fantastic
NEEVER EVER EVER GET GLUE
I HAD GLUE AND IT WAS PULLING OUT MY REAL HAIR
I HAVE BALD PATCHES UNDER MY HAIR
THANK GOD I GOT THEM OUT
ONLY AFTER ONE MONTH
AND I HAVE BALD PATCHES
YUCK
PLEASE DO NOT GET GLUE
they can.....depends on how stong your hair is.
It could be.
it depends on what kind you get. with glue and sew in, yes because it begins to pull you hair. with fusion and clip ins, no.
depends what ones you get
warning - weaves will rip out your hair - just look at the pics of posh spice before she got hers taken out - she had bald patches all over her head
i have had glue in ones for two years and they are FANTASTIC. not expensive and easy to wear, they actually help my hair to grow! I had them in for three months straight and my hair was twice as thick when i took them out. my hairdresser (who is also a tricologist) said that its because you are unable to get right into the roots to scrub them etc hence it gives the roots a chance to grow like they wouldnt normally. they are a little annoying after a week or so when they start to drop out but its not big deal, just get someone to put a bit of glue on and put it back on your head.
bottom line - weaves rip your hair out, glue in ones don't
yes, i am a licenesed cosmetologist. ive seen first hand what extensions can do to peoples hair. exspecially if they are not removed correctly. some good advice when they glued in dont keep them in more than 1 month at a time and when u do take them out use a glue remover or glue remover shampoo the best way to wear extensions is to get them sewed in , it last longer (u can i keep them in atleast 3 to 6 mo. at a time. sewing them in is better for yoour hair no joke. and the most important condition your hair!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have thick then maybe!! Ive bin there done that!! Worst regret of my life!! My hair has gone so fine its just getting back too normal!! If you are going too get Hair Exstentions!! Get racoon hair exstentions! There great and far best than any others!! When you have them took you can have them sent off and treated and have them put back in again!! Okies hunn!!
i dunno
totally safe
Oh yea! I got them after a kid chopped off my hair at the base of a ponytail. It makes the roots healthier!
My ex wife had extensions about 7 years ago and paid $600 for them.
They looked like crap. Maybe the hairdresser wasn't good Then, when she had them taken out, her original hair was ruined.
Save your money and be patient - grow your own hair.
If you must try them anyway, ask your hairdresser for an introduction to their previous clients and get 1st hand information from them.
Happy or not...they will tell you.
I had hair extensions a few years ago as i was trying to grow my hair long and wanted extensions done while my own hair was growing, it cost around 鎷?00 and looked really good for the first month, but then they started to look like dolls hair and they just wouldn't come out, i had to cut them off and all my newly grown hair along with them. I ended up getting a hair piece and a long fake ponytail which was so much better. Also the hair extensions felt heavy and gave me neck ache and it was impossible to wear in a pony tail or hair up style as everyone could see the extension joins..
You dont have to wait, as long as your hair is a few inches long, it should work.
I don't get the question. hair extensions can be placed right above the ears as long as you have hair to cover it a little. You can get a hair piece weaved in so that it goes from ear to ear, and have it as long as you want.
um how short is ur hair...LIke guy hair short?? or is it up to ur ears or beyond ur eyes...??
i cut my hair short two years ago and hated it..so i got extentions.... so you shouldnt have to wait if you have someone who knows what their doing putting them in.
until your hair doesnt SUCK anymore! then it'll be the length you wanted it to be and then you won't need hair extensions. you must be really stupid, huh?
You don't have to wait. A professional who is well experienced with hair weaving can hook you up today. Drive around your town or look at Yahoo! Local... call around and don't rule out the girls in the hood.
Dont mind travelling anywhere in UK though, if it's worth it!

You had it cut so now you have to let it grow.
Hey, What up?,
It depends first on who's doing it, if they know what they're doing and how you care for your hair the duration of the desired style. It also depends on the condition your hair was in before the extentions. To get to your answer, How damaged is your hair? It depends on the individual. Extensions grow your hair because your hair is not being teased, combed, brushed, curled, hot combed, blow dryed. It's just natural. My advice to you is if you wear them, don't relax or perm hair first.
Hair grows better and faster natural with no chemicals. The price would depend on how long your natural hair is and what kind of braids you want. There's french braids, dooky braids, pop corn braids, micro braids, single braids, zig zag, anyway you want it. If you really want to know, email me and I'll give you an answer but I need to know wht you're seeking? I hope I helped you.
what do you do to take care of them, how do they put them in, do they hurt??? tell anything about them you know
i want the ones that stay in for a long time
Hair extensions can really be damaging to hair because it actually pulls and snugs at the natural hair. I would recommend getting a temporary clip on like Jessica Simpson's line that look very gorgeous. Check this out http://beauty.hsn.com/hairdo-by-ken-pave...
dont get those that stay on for a long time. its not worth spending all that money to have your hair damaged later on when you try to have them removed. The best thing to do is use the clip ons. Those are just clipped onto the root of your hair and you can just take them off whenever by just clipping them back off. I have them and use them every once in a while. I made them myself by purchasing some "human hair" and the little clips and sowed them together. (you can find this at any beauty supply but i always recomend Sally Beauty Supply) It takes some time to put it together but after you have that ready you just clip them onto your hair and TADA your ready to go.
Good luck
becuase my hairs really bushey so if i get em would i be able to strighten em?
You can't use heat on synthetic extensions. However, if you buy human hair extensions (which are more expensive), you should be able to use a straightening iron on them.
YUP
only if they are reall hair if they are plastic no so u have to make sure they are human hair extentions if they r then yes u can straighten them
=D
I wouldn't recommend it, but you could try, just dont burn them!!
yup but onl;y if there human hair extensntions
yeasss
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
yes
real hair extensions can be straightened but you have to keep using leave in conditioners, treatments etc to keep em good condition.
you can get human hair extension quite cheap depending on how you have extensions (i.e. clip in, bonded/glue, sewn)..
clip in 1s r cheaper...but are quite fiddly...
bond/glue in 1s...not cheap, and can damage hair...(victoria beckham had em removed and she had bald spots)
sewn in - your hair is braided, wefts of hair are sewn in...this tends to be the best way as your hair isnt exposed to heat n chemical damage and tend to be alot cheaper
ive got nice average length hair and its natural and very soft. i like to wear hair extensions alot and over the few years my hair at the front has had growth problems. its not growing very much and i seem to have some bald patches at the front and i think my hair line is receeding. does dr. miracles temple and nape balm work well for this aswell??
I have short, relaxed hair, but my temple and nape have been increasingly thinning. I'm in the process of growing my hair out and my hairdresser suggested this product to speed up the process (she uses it as well). I bought it right after my hair appointment. I get my hair trimmed every week and a half. From the day I started using this product to the my next hair appointment, my hairdresser went from looking at no hair to actually having to trim the hair on the nape of my neck with scissors!! I continue to use this product and HIGHLY reccommend it. Good luck!
I have heard that it works pretty good. Another popular one is the spot serum, where it makes certain spots grow....you should give it a try.
braiding or weave on extensions
Hi I would recommend Barbara Christina tel 01772 720365
and thats on Blackpool Road, as a Salon owner one of my stylists went there due to moving home, have a great time they will certainly look after you and you will get a first class style done with them
i have had nothing but bad haircuts for 3 years now. so bad it has caused my to have to get hair extensions all the time. i go to someone different everytime. I go to very nice salons, its not like im going to your local walmart salon. last time i went to "toni and guy" paid $75 and she still screwed it up she was the manager and been there 5 years. what can i do to put a stop to these bad haircuts?
I have found that all hair cuts look alot better after about 2 weeks. Perms are the same way. It is like a haircut needs to "relax"? So wait 2 weeks to decide if it is that bad or not. I have fine thin hair %26amp; it will never lay right anyway. So it depends on your hair type too I think. Keep trying different stylists till you find one that "understands" what you want %26amp; your hair type. If you take a picture in to show you have to have the same hair type for it to come out the same. Good luck!!!
theyre all too busy practicing on their wrists...
Report these people to the proper authority, go back when they mess up and ask for a refund, and never go back their again, It also may help if you learn how to cut your own hair, and it can be done, my Son cuts his hair all the time and so do my daughter.
in reality, what is occuring is that you and your stylist have different ideas on how you want your hair to look. it is not that they are unable to cut hair well, it is that they do not understand what you want done to your hair. the best way to stop bad haircuts is to bring pictures of how you want your hair cut whether from a magazine or the internet. and if you cannot find your perfect hair in these pictures bring in different pictures of parts that you like (these bangs, this length, etc.). i used to have the same problem and then decided to bring in pictures and have been very happy since.
who says???
More expensive is not always better. I found that when I went to "designer" hair salons they did worse because they knew they were going to get your money anyway. When you are getting $75 a haircut you are not going to need to keep your clientel coming back as much as someone who is making less money. Try going to a reasonable salon and taking a look at the people who walk out. If they look like they have presentable hair give the salon a try. Bring pictures of how you would like your hair to look or do some research so you can tell them exactly what you would like (correct terminology would help).
Keep going to the same person. If they do something you do not like, tell them the next time that you want it this way and last time they did it that way. That way the stylist can learn your tastes. I have been going to the same woman for the past 8 years because she knows what looks good on me and what types of styles I like and dislike. Consistency with your stylist lets them learn about you and your hair much better.
As far as the manager goes, most managers do not actually do alot of hair cutting. They will have the occasional appointment or will have people come that they have been seeing since they graduated from their hairdressing school. Just because the manager isn't the best stylist or the best at cutting doesn't mean their employees will be entirely inept.
Ooh girl, I know exactly how you feel. Same here, I've had bad hair cuts for three years now, it's like one non stop bad mess on my head. This has caused me ALLOT of grief and stress and low self confidence.
Before the bad hair cuts I had nice long hair that was easy to manage. I've had hair stylist do really scary things to my hair, things that I did not ask for. One guy used a razor on my hair without my permission,he razored pieces off almost to my scalp. My entire head of hair was ruined. I didn't even know what he had done until it was to late. I had to wear my hair up for a year and then after the year I went to go get all the razored part cut off. I wanted a cute hair cut using all my new growth. I had a cconsultation and the girl agreed that the cut I wanted would work and it would be cute. Well, she made a mess of my hair. What she did was not even layering,it looked like she just picked up pieces and chopped,it didn't blend and my entire left side was WAY shorter then the right.I let that grow out for several months and then went to someone else. This time I had the owner of the salon cut my hair and OH MY GOD! IT WAS SOOOOO ATROCIOUS! She chopped my hair up and shredded it all over again. It looks all thin and frayed. I can't do anything with it so I have to wear it up and even that doesn't look good. It's been growing out for almost ten months and I need it cut,but I'm to terrified to let anyone touch it. I might wind up bald next time. I tried everything I have read and every tip people have given me to insure a good cut and I still wind up with my hair totally destroyed. I thank God I did not let the last stylist do highlights like she wanted to do. I can't help but think she would have burned my hair clean off my head. The only tip I can give you is if you don't feel comfortable with the stylist for any reason, get up and leave and if their hair doesn't look good, leave. I have gotten crappy hair cuts from stylist with nice hair though,so I really have no idea what to do. Good luck
What can you do to put a stop to these bad haircuts?
Stop getting haircuts. That should do it. They'll keep cutting hair, but it won't be yours that'll get butchered.
Do some price-shopping and while you're in various places, notice what sort of hair they deal with and what results they're getting. If you're fortunate, you'll eventually find a place that may be able to work with you type of hair (thick vs. thin, fine vs. coarse, curly vs. straight) and you may let someone cut %26amp; style your hair again, that, or you may find out that self-trimmed longer hair might better suit your lifestyle.
they would only be... approx. foot long.
So I'm guessing your a Kiki Kannibal fan?
You can buy extensions at Sallys Beauty Supply for $30 (make sure to get REAL hair and not synthetic!). You will have to dye the stripes in yourself.
Good Luck
閳?br>About how much do hair extensions cost if you want blonde ones with dyed horizontal strips..?
your looking at about 鎷?00 if u were to have them done at a salon, lol, then 6 months later u av them taken out and re-bonded and put back in, but it wouldnt cost the same becuz u wouldnt av 2 pay 4 the exsentations u jst pay 4 them 2 put them in lol!! its worth avin it done at a salon, then if anything goes wrong they can sort it out, lol!!
Costly.
Just enjoy your own hair
Hi i have been using racoon extensions for 10 years on and off and they are great. You need to go to a really good salon who has loads of experience and they will do a colour match to your own hair and it will be undetectable i proomise. They can then show you a colour chart and you can select what colour you want your stripes to be. I used to have 14" and a whole head cost 鎷?50. Every 6-8 weeks i would go for maintance where some would be moved up etc this would cost about 鎷?0 - 鎷?2 and then about every 6 months i would buy an ounce of hair to bulk it up a bit as it does shed in your brush a little. The longer you go the more expensive they are, i think the shortest my salon did was 12". I really can recommend racoon if you have a salon near you who does them, they have a website www.racoon.com i think and they can tell you of salons who use them. Good luck you wont be disappointed i promise. x
DO THEY WORK WELL
I WANT TESE ONEShttp://www.hairextensions.com/product.ph...
well until i saw that close up of jessica simpson i never knew she had short hair and used extensions. wow. my answer is that they work real good
yes they, do they work very well, but it depends......
if you get someone to braid that section of hair in a circular pattern the sew it on across it looks really pretty and natural.
heard that some were sold in NYC
I have never heard of hair sold by the pound.
At Da Stow.
I just bought CLIP IN fake [plastic] hair extensions, I only wore them around the house for 1 day and i kept on brushing them. Now they're really frizzy and matted at the bottem. I straightened them and its helped a bit but when i bought them they were really sleek and smooth and shiney .. how can i get them back like that ?? Pleeez help :D
You can use a spray to tame them. An oil sheen spray would make them look nice and silky. Good luck
because they are synthetic, your best bet would be to buy new ones.
next time buy human hair and you can wash and straighten it all you want!!!
getting synthetic was you first mistake.
get real ones at sallys.
if you have any questions,
message me at
myspace.com/lena869
and i will be happy to answer :]
Soo I want to get hair extensions....but I dont know where to go %26amp;%26amp; how expensive they are to get done!? what is the possible cheapest I can get them put in for?
I would only use cheap hair extensions in a temporary style- like for a date or something. If you intend to keep them for any length of time you need to spend some money. The longer the length, better quality of the hair and the lighter the color the more expensive the hair. One of the reasons some extensions tangle to easily is that the cuticles are not all going the same direction. Also the more heat you use on cheap extensions they more they will get destroyed. You can not even blow dry a synthetic extension. If you really want to do this, save some money, find a good quality hair and a person who does this a lot.
A girl should never wear cheap hair extensions because it looks fake
There are several lines that are cheap, but you will definitely get what you pay for. Go to your local Beauty Supply Store, or ask any of your friends who may currently wear a DECENT weave what brand of hair they have in. Ask stylists you know for their recommendations as well.
Try our hair extensions. You order them custom and they're human hair so they will last you longer.

Where Can i Buy Electric Blue Clip in hair Extensions??
http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.d...
Most hair stores or maybe www.hottopic.com or zumies
The beauty supply store.
P.s. Zumies is a skate shop? Why would they have them? and if Hot Topic did they'd be over priced.
I did a search and found these:
http://www.hairtrade.com/product_info.ph...
EDIT: Found some in a sale and they have them in electric blue too: http://www.hairextensionsnow.com/catalog...
Not sure where you live, but in Leeds we have some of those carts in the shopping centres and malls. They sell them with the clips and the staff are really helpful with advice on how to put them in. Pretty reasonable price too!
We got some for a friend, they come on a strip, you cut the width that you want and sew on these tiny grips, the whole lot came to 鎷?0 and there's still loads left over for when they get a bit ratty.
Hope this helps.
I'm a white girl looking for some cheap hair extensions. Someone butchered my hair when I got it cut the other day, and I can't stand it. I'm looking for somewhere cheap to give me hair extensions in New York, around Westchester County. Any ideas???
if you get cheap hair extension they will look worse than your butchered haircut. you get what you pay for.
A dollar store.
I want to learn how to apply hair extensions would I be able to learn from a training dvd and if so where do i by the equipment and how much does it cost?
and what will i need?
getting another person to watch the hair extension application dvd is even better, since attaching them to ur tresses at the back of ur hair will need help to perfect it.Go to ur hairdresser and ask for pointers, and find out from him/her what are the range of products u can avail of within ur budget.get started thereafter, all prepared!
have fun with them!!
Read some hair and extensions tips on this site
I go to Sally's beauty salon and they have hair extensions and the book.
Go to a local hairdressing school. Usually on a certain day of the week the school will allow you to come in for a small fee (like 5 bucks) and one of the students will give you a lesson.
Have fun.
yes you could learn that way but its better to get a person who knows so they can show you
OMG the twins have just asked her how much she paid for her hair extensions, Shenessa said 鎷?00.00...OMG have you seen the state of them? looks like she's been dragged through a hedge....
600 pounds? She was robbed mate!
missed this question yesteday lol no way is she 27 i would put her more at about 34 , as for her hair , no chance did they cost 600 quid ,like to see them in a few weeks thats if she gets in at all lol!!!
hi im worried that if i dye my hair extensions it may damage the bonds?
also CAN you even dye (human) hair extensions? including the bond bits?
you can, only if it's human hair. however, if it is not straight (like if it's a body weave) or anything, it will become straight. the dye messes with the chemical bond. I would be careful at the bonds, but you should be ok.
It depends what kind of extensions you have and everything like that. I'm pretty sure that if it's 100% human hair that you can dye it though. Ask your hair stylist. Or you could just wait until the next time you have to get your extensions redone. Then you can get your hair dyed first and get new extensions that'd match.
ive had great lenghts hair extentions for the last 5 years. im seriously addicted. lol i color it all the time. im always changing my mind between blonde and brown and ive never once had any problems. i get them done at one salon but i love my colorist at another and they dont even do the extentions there.. and ive never had a problem. just use a deep conditionder on the extentions 4 times a week after you color them.! :)
yes you can dye human!!! hair but i wouldnt dye the bonds iy's might harm it but you can dye the hair
i ddnt like my short hair cut and i cant wait for it to grow long...and im planning to get hair extensions.. do you know any good salons that does hair extensions around san francisco?? please tell me where and do you recommend the salon??
I dont live in Sa Fran but you should google hair salons in your area and I think you will look nice with them. Do you know what technique you want to use. Theres infusion and sewing so figure out what technique you want to go for that best suits your lifestyle
my opinion is to don't have extensions! will damage your hair!
i watched "oprah" today,(3-16-06) and the girl that was on the show had extensions put in her hair by Ellin LaVar. it looked wonderful. the before %26amp; after was amazing! i didn't get to watch the whole show, so i didn't find out if her extensions were going to be permanent or if she had to take them out/put them back in. i want them, even if their not permanent. obviously, i can't go to Ellin LaVar, but does anyone know where i can go to get professional extensions, %26amp; if they are permanent, %26amp; the price? thanks for answers.
Well, since I saw the show I'll tell you that her hair was not permanent and she would have to get it re-done in 3-4 months. There are no such thing as permanent weaves, but if you get someone to do a good job on your hair it could last for a little longer. The best places to go are the places the specializes in extensions only and the prices usually range from 300 and up.
Weaves- Key word is Weaves. Even fusions start to fall out- Braides, Micros, so wen ins, glued in- They all gotta come out and if you don't take them out they come out with your real hair. There are no such ting as Permanent hair extensions
I've been wanting to put colored streaks in my hair, but I found out that even temporary dyes can seriously mess up my natural color. What I'm looking for, and have had no luck finding, are multi-colored, waist length clip in extensions. Basically, something different to add to a braid for one day.

depending on where you live.......sally beauty supply has a good variety. synthetic and human hair. if youre doing them yourself i would ask for euronet. they clip in really easily and you can take em off whenever you want
If you've had hair extensions or have them in now..
What method did you use?
Did it damage your hair?
I have re-searched on them, but would like to hear of other peoples expierences with them :)
I'm not keen on clip in extensions as of now.
No stupid answers, please.
Thanks in advance.
Ive done the glue on type..it doesn't last long cause as soon as you start sweating they start to slip off. They can be easy be removed w/ any kind of oil on the track then the glue can be comb out w/ a fine tooth comb.i prefer the sew on method instead.much more expensive and can hurt a little but in the long run the best way to go..also use human hair
Yes I have and just don't glue it in!
I've had extensions put in using the "pinch braid" method. Which is when they braid just the top part in and then secure it with thread. It gives more of a funky look and doesn't damage your hair. They are easy to have taken out and put back in.
Here's a link on how to put in the extensions:

i have i don't have any in now..i see that you said you don't like the clip on method but if you are white (no offense) that is the best way to go.. african americans typically use glue but we have a different type of texture hair so it sticks..i have a friend of a different race and when she used glue its like it slipped right out because her hair is silky..your best bet would be a lace front weave.. it looks so natural and you can wear it any way that you like.. you can part it anywhere put it in a ponytail etc..it is the exact same kind that tyra banks has in her head..or alot of the stars..it is kind of expensive depending on what your budget is..go to http://lace-front-wig.com/ go where it says CELEBRITY LACE FRONT WIGS and you can see who is wearing them and how they look.. good luck
OH YEA THE GLUE METHOD SUCKS!!!
